Dryer Balls Made from Alpaca

Eco-friendly - 100% green!

We personally felt each ball from our alpacas raised in Virginia!

What are they? Fragrance-free, dye-free 100% alpaca dryer balls. A great alternative to fabric softeners and dryer sheets. Due to the natural colors used, colors may vary. None of our alpaca dryer balls have any dyed fiber, so there are no chemicals and the colors will NEVER run.

Benefits: Use a whole set with wet clothes in the dryer, even if you have a small load, to reduce drying time up to 25%. Absorbs water and turns to steam to remove wrinkles. The balls get dry at the same time as the clothes. They open and spread the clothes as they tumble so more surface is available for heat. The more dryer balls you use, the more your drying time is reduced. They replace fabric softener and dryer sheets so there is no chemical residue on your clothes, sheets, and towels. No chemicals also increases the absorbency of your towels and helps your clothes to breathe. These alpaca balls are safe for use with new sports clothes that have “wicking feature”. Based on our research the dryer balls should last up to 5 years.

What if I want scent? A few drops of warming or essential oil on each ball will last about a week. Make sure the oil dries completely before you use in the dryer with your clothes as essential oils can stain your clothes. A good way to get the oil into the center of the ball is to use a turkey injector or syringe and large bore needle with just a few drops inserted into the middle of the ball.

What about static? Static is worse in winter when the air is dry and your clothes get over dried. Try lowering your dryer sensor to a less dry (a couple of notches below your normal setting). Test your dryer to find the proper setting where clothes are dry without static. If you are using the timed drying setting, lower the time about 20 % to see how long it takes using the alpaca dryer balls

How many do I need? We recommend a set of 2 for small loads. Larger loads get more benefit from 3 alpaca dryer balls.

Wholesale pricing available for these and other alpaca items.
